LIFEBUILDERS is a registered non-governmental organization working with youths and women at the community level for targeted sustainable development interventions. We reach community members with public health-promoting and environmental conservation programme including income generation opportunities derivable from natural plants, especially the fast-growing, nutrient-dense, carbon sinking, Moringa Oleifera plant.

The well-researched plant was popularized for its household food security, environmental conservation, and wealth creation possibilities.

Lifebuilders in collaboration with rural dwellers of Akinyele LGA, four research institutes, and Vidsa- Multiventures Ltd, planted, processed, and turned the Moringa Oleifera plant into five key products of Moringa tea, powder, bio-ethanol, bio-gel, and briquettes, thus addressing five of the 17 SDGs of the United Nation.

LIFEBUILDERS has consistently worked on her long term goal of contributing to global effort to assure sustainable people oriented development in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa. With an 18 person governing board, comprising of a four members board of trustee, 14 members of directors/Advisors and 4 full time staff and over 100 volunteers in related fields of agriculture, health, IT, environment, finance, we have developed strategic plan with the 22 years of existence have added much values to the Nigerian and global community.

Two key innovations that have created niches for LIFEBUILDERS NGO are the empowerment of the Youthful generation with the essential life skills and transformational leadership training. Over 50,000 youths and women have been reached with our one-on-one trainings.

Our second initiative is the collaboration with community members and research institutes to popularize the Moringa oleifera plant of which over 10,000,000 have been cultivate has household farm yield and income generation activities in the entire south-west Nigeria.

The outcome of those two initiatives is the creation a critical mass of emerging youth leaders now working in different parts of the world, where the currently reside and the Moringa plant which currently generate income for many beneficiaries, plus acting as carbon-sink wherever it is planted.

LIFEBUILDERS acquired a 20.5 hectares of land at Ijaiye for the establishment of a Youth Green Village which will serve as a drop-In study center on issues of environment, agriculture and forest resource management. This is in collaboration with FRIN.
